Have you heard Owen Sound Special Olympics is hosting a Snowshoe Provincial Qualifier?
Our Arctic Foxes Snowshoe Team will be hosting several Special Olympics Communities from across Eastern Ontario, for a fun filled day of snowshoe racing.
On February 21st, at Stone Tree Golf & Fitness, athletes from across the region will be competing for a chance to advance to the Provincial Games in 2027.
Sounds exciting right?
We are giving you the opportunity to join in on the fun, by volunteering to help us make this event one all the athletes will never forget.

Grey Bruce Polar Plunge 2026
Grey Bruce OPP, the Inter Township Fire Department, and the Township of Georgian Bluffs are bringing back the 2026 Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Ontario.
Join the fun on Saturday, March 7 at the Shallow Lake Arena. A charity hockey game between Grey Bruce OPP and Inter Township Fire kicks things off at 1 p.m., with plunge registration opening at the same time. The plunge happens at 2 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to take part, dress up, cheer from the stands, or support the cause. All funds raised help provide year-round sports opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
