Volunteer

We Need You!

Next to our amazing athletes, our volunteers are one of the integral pieces keeping our Special Olympics community active and thriving. At the community level, every facet of our programs from administration to coaching are run by volunteers.

As a volunteer you could choose to be involved with the sports programs directly as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, help with fundraising events, or even be part of our Community Council (see below for more info). We are always actively seeking new volunteers who are energetic and passionate with a desire to help others and build up our community.

Our volunteers take pride in knowing they're providing athletes with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to experience the excitement, joy and personal fulfillment associated with participating in sport in Owen Sound. Volunteer with us and we can guarantee our athletes will make you smile day after day!
